MPower conducted a successful three-series customer forum in August 2016 to update customers firsthand regarding regulatory developments in the electric power industry. The fora, attended by many customers, were held at the Meralco Center, Pasig City on August 9 and 16, 2016; and at the Acacia Hotel Manila, Alabang on August 19, 2016.
Apart from regulatory updates, MPower also discussed other developments in the Electric Power Industry. MPower’s Energy Planning Officer discussed the Luzon Power Supply and Demand Outlook; and elaborated on the reasons for the recent Yellow and Red Alerts occurrences. MPower’s Strategic Account Managers and Sales Planning Officer also gave updates on MPower’s new products and services. For the forum with potential customers, MPower’s Customer Care and Contracts Officer discussed the timelines and requirements for switching, to further help contestable customers in their journey to the competitive market.
The series of fora were well attended, having a total of 154 participants coming from 98 companies.
