MPower signed a solar power supply agreement with Pilipinas Newton Energy Corp. (PNEC) on August 30, 2018 at the Meralco Compound, Pasig City.
In order to cater to the growing demand for renewable energy sources, MPower chose a partner specializing in sustainable energy. PNEC is a joint venture project of emcrii Resources Inc., a sustainable energy company established in the Philippines in 2014, and Canadian Solar, Inc., a global leading manufacturer of solar PV modules and a provider of solar energy solutions established in Canada in 2001.
