On February 28, 2017, MPower welcomed a new batch of partners to its family through a forum entitled, “MPower Partners Welcome Forum” at the Meralco Center, Pasig City. The event oriented our new customers on what they can expect from MPower as their energy partner and provided updates on the competitive energy market.
Since these new partners are transitioning from the captive to contestable market, the forum started with a brief background and history of the Competitive Retail Electricity Market (CREM). MPower’s energy planning officer also discussed the Luzon supply-demand outlook in 2017. The main highlight of the forum focused on the billing process and timeline of MPower and how it differs with their billing experience when they were still being served by the distribution utility, Meralco. Lastly, MPower gave an overview of the value-added services, events and programs that the customers can look forward to and avail of as part of the MPower family.
