US Embassy, Sofitel Plaza extend partnership with MPower
July 1, 2014
After only a few months of partnering with MPower, the United States Embassy and Sofitel Philippine Plaza extended their respective energy contracts into long term contracts. Both accounts appreciated MPower's competitive rates, supply performance and service delivery which benefited their operations. The extension came after only a few months into the initial 18-month contract, indicating their satisfaction with MPower and desire to lock in stable supply at competitive rates with a strategic partner.

The United States embassy extended the power supply services of its two accounts with a consolidated demand of 3.8MW. The extension covers the US embassy and US government accounts located at Roxas Boulevard. Meanwhile, Sofitel Philippine Plaza, one of the country's leading hotels with a demand of 2.5MW, also appreciated the savings and price structure which supported their energy efficiency initiatives.

Both customers were among those who took the plunge and switched on June 26, 2013. After experiencing the benefits of RCOA and exercising their right to choose, both have chosen to stay with MPower for the long haul, strengthening their strategic partnership.
